Across Lebanon, young refugees and displaced youth are being left behind.

Almost 60% of Syrian refugees in Lebanon never attend school, and those that do rarely have access to consistent quality education.

Alsama means ‘the sky’ in Arabic. We provide free secondary education to teenagers who are otherwise likely to enter early marriage or child labour. Most students join us illiterate and innumerate but graduate ready to enter university or skilled employment after six years. Alsama education broadens the horizons of our students, their families, and generations to come!
