Alsama Wins the first Global Schools Prize

On 19th May, Alsama Project became the world's first recipient of the Varkey Foundation's Global Schools Prize.

Recognised for our commitment to overcoming adversity, Alsama won against 3,000 other amazing applicants.

Kadria Hussien, our co-founder and COO, was able to travel to London for the awards ceremony at the Education World Forum. Here she is receiving the award from award-winning director Richard Curtis, and Sunny Varkey himself. You can watch the video HERE.

We are hugely grateful to The Varkey Foundation and Education World Forum for making this possible.
