A good start to kick off the year! It is thrilling to see the mothers of our students having the desire to learn! We will introduce you to Ms Fatima and Amina, the amazing literacy teachers leading the sessions at Bourj and Shatila. What is even more inspiring is that these lessons go beyond teaching them how to read and write; they are intelligently linked to their real lives. For example, today's lesson focused on creating a balanced budget. The aim of these sessions is for the women to become fluent readers and writers without needing any assistance by the end of this year.Well done, ladies! Keep up the great work!
