Having the opportunity to learn how to read and write after starting a family isn’t easy.
The Alsama Women's Literacy Classes have concluded with great success, graduating 38 women after a year of basic education. Learning how to read and write was a significant achievement for both Alsama and these women.
"For many of us, learning to read and write changed everything. 'Now, I can help my children with homework,' says Hayam.
Alsama provides refugee teenagers in the Middle East with a world-class education, while transforming refugee education worldwide.
