Driven by the pursuit of happiness and resilience in hardship, our project also sheds light on what dehumanizes us.
In collaboration with Dr. Renata S. Beman, a researcher in bioethics and human rights, we launched the Italy Exhibition Project, creating 10 powerful pieces that will travel globally from Shatila.
Our project unfolds in three phases:
Phase 1 (January 23rd): Online classes led by Mrs. Boshra Yassin (Art Alsama) and Dr. Renata, exploring 10 themes as the exhibition’s foundation.
Phase 2: Dr. Renata joins students in Lebanon to create 10 unique art pieces.
Phase 3: The grand exhibition, sharing their work with the world.
With 100 students already on board, we’re excited for what’s ahead!
