Twelve students from our highest group in the centre started receiving coding lessons through Zoom this time, with our amazing volunteer Emily, who has been to Alsama before. 'There are so many things that make Alsama great; it would be doing it an injustice to name only one. All in all, I am glad I get to contribute to Alsama and the work it does,' Emily shared with us. The coding program will be running from the end of April to the end of June, focusing on Python and the fundamentals of website development. By the end of this program, our students will be able to create their own personal website. As Emily explains, 'Nowadays, coding is the new bilingualism. It is a versatile tool to help improve our productivity, and most importantly, harness our problem-solving skills.'A big thank you to Emily for your great work!
