Alsama Project has signed an MOU with the University of Leicester to develop the world’s first high-school-equivalent certification for displaced youth to access higher education or employment: the G12++.

Launching in 2026, the G12++ will create a pathway for talented young people with disrupted or informal education to prove their skills and access universities and employers around the world.

This groundbreaking partnership builds on Alsama’s innovative work in Lebanon and brings together the expertise of the University of Leicester to make higher education more accessible for displaced youth globally.

Thank you to Professor Elizabeth Jones from the University of Leicester and our CEO Meike Ziervogel for leading this important step forward.

Together, we are redefining what is possible for displaced learners.
