We are now launching the G12++, a groundbreaking solution to help displaced youth access universities and employment. The G12++ is a global certificate designed specifically for out of school youth at the bottom of the pyramid. It serves to prove high school-level competencies to universities and employers, who otherwise struggle to make admissions or recruiting decisions for youth coming from non-traditional schooling.We have made significant progress already:• Prototype of the G12++ already undergoing beta-testing September 2025 • Network built of assessment experts from the world’s pre-eminent thought-leaders • Partnerships shaped with Cambridge Assessment & Skillsbuilder.org on content • Advisory Board formed with influential global leaders in the education space • Partnerships shaped UK / US universities, such as University of Leicester • Powerful foundations & philanthropists engaged We will launch the G12++ with our first cohort of candidates in Lebanon in February 2026.We anticipate the G12++ can benefit 50,000+ young people globally each year.What is the role?You will play a central part in the development and launch of the G12++ certificate, delivering real impact as part of a professional, community-orientated and ambitious start-up team in Shatila Refugee Camp, Beirut.Your work will contribute directly to:• Strengthen the G12++ qualification – Ensure the G12++ is finalised and digitised, and is celebrated as a world-class certificate built in collaboration between Alsama and pre-eminent global experts and institutions • Expand G12++ adoption – Strengthen the network of universities and employers around the world who formally use the G12++ to access talent among non formally educated youth; • Secure international accreditation to increase recognition and uptake • Support learners – Ensure the G12++ is delivered effectively & efficiently, so it can be scaled to refugee camps to help youth around the worldWhat will you do?To achieve the above, you will independently own several key workstreams. Your responsibilities will depend on the highest priorities for the G12++ and your areas of expertise. These will likely entail the following:a) Manage the end-to-end content development of the G12++ assessment • Work with leading assessment experts on the development of G12++ assessment itself, including subject content, assessment materials, and learning resources • Support a global team of academic exam developers (some displaced themselves) for continuous (re-)creation of the exam content • Support digitisation of the G12++, including embedding a digital portal, enhancing with AI-driven innovations b) Project management & implementation • Support development of the overall project plan for development and execution of the G12++, ensuring key milestones guide us towards launch in 2026 • Manage timelines, deliverables, and reporting, keeping stakeholders aligned • Create and orchestrate policies, processes and manuals to ensure Alsama delivers the G12++ at world-class standards of integrity and credibility • Shape logistics for delivering the assessment and digitally-authenticated certificatesWho will you report to?Head of G12++ & Senior G12++ OfficerWho will you work with?G12++ team, Fundraising & Comms teams, MEAL (Monitoring Evaluation Accountability & Learning) Officer, Finance team, Alsama Executive Lead TeamRequired Experience & Skills:• Bachelor's degree (minimum) and proven record of academic excellence. • Minimum 2 years professional experience in education / assessment, project management or related fields including handling multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines. • Experience leading end-to-end examination process working with academic assessments (e.g. developing content, working with assessment digital platforms, working with educators). • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and propose practical solutions. • High attention to detail and ability to review and improve both own work and that of others. • Proficiency with digital business tools: fluency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint and exam- authoring tools / platforms. • Clear and compelling verbal and written English communication skills and a strong capability in Arabic. • Strong analytical skills to interpret quantitative and qualitative information to generate clear insights and practical recommendations.Safeguarding: Alsama is committed to safeguarding all students and vulnerable adults.
